Two Aby’s in Big Bad London
Ohohoh
Marketa is finishing her text book, so working nearly 24 hours a day – but we (especially Vali) managed to distract her yesterday late evening. Vali caught a big frog and brought it into the house. It screamed its head of. Marketa chases Vali to get frog. Frog escaped underneath the BIG fridge. There is a little blood – Vali got a bit too annoyed at the escaping frog. Panic! Marketa phones her neighbours (whose frogs they are) and neighbour has to come and move fridge to get to frog and save it!!! Mrieuw!
It has been a long time – but I have trouble with my sister who attacks me, all claws and teeth, suddenly and for no reason. Then I get afraid and angry and hiss and growl back. This ususally lasts from 3 to 10 days and then we are friends again. It drives Marketa crazy. Me too.
Apart from that we enjoyed summer – catching frogs (I am quite good at it – but we don;t harm them). Catching and eating moths- Yumm! Rolling in the sun, hiding from the sun and lazing around.
Vitia is ill at the moment. That is about all – we are now 4 years old.
Vali
Oooh It is cold – my tail is freezing off!
Where has the sun gone, and the nice warm air. I don’t even have time to look for frogs or mice before I have to rush in and sit above the central heating to warm my paws!
There is a funny tree in our living room – now what’ a tree doing inside?
It has little red balls on it -which are fun to hit!
We have caught numerous frogs but Marketa always takes them away from us and then they are nowhere to be found! After all that hard work. “I took a bite of one’s finger – it didn’t taste very nice.” – Vitia.
Purrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
We can now go into the whole garden. There is a high point (shed roof) for observing the world on the one side and another high point on the other. There are many flying beasts to be hunted down – especially bumble bees (although they do sting before they can be devoured). There are bushes to hide under and jump out suddenly frightening the live out of Vali. There are many other hiding places and then there is the sun – and the dusty floor to roll in and clean my coat. Oh it is just purrrrrrrfect. Now I am looking for a way out to explore the rest of the world – although apparently there are metal cat-flattening monsters out there….
It’s a cruel cruel and unreasonable world. Trading in cat and dog fur. Stealing of pets, taking kittens from the street and breeding cats for people to wear cat (or dog) fur. Any fur is sickening – but this is doubly sickening. The double standards of it all. On the one hand we are breed to be beautiful, people pay money for us, to keep us, to feed us, and some even to love us. Then there are many more people who destroy us, skin us alive, to make money. And even more who totally ignore the fact that this goes on and buy cute little toys that are covered with cat-fur.
There are protests against seal bashing (and so there should be), but what about your closest friends – just because we are under your noses does not mean you should ignore this problem.
Wake up people, there are humans out there who are killing us in a horrible fashion – to take our skin and fur.
Maybe it’s time that you grow your own back!!!
We had a big fight. Marketa was not amused! She doesn’t know why we fought and we are not telling – even here on our web-log. That must remain a secret. But after three days of hissing, spitting, screaming and occasionally attacking each other – with the help of some calming Valerian, we stopped. It took another week or so for Vitia to stop hissing at me when I came near but now we are friends again.
I know Marketa hopes that she never has to go through this again, but she did buy us new (and lots) of toys, makes sure that she playes with us, and when she goes out gives us this groovy drug – I like it – Vitia not so much. So we get treats to eat it!
Now it’s up to you to guess why we fought…
I have had my tail cut open! Marketa took me to the Vet yestreday. I thought only for a check up – and a bit of weight control. Then she left me. All alone. And then they made me sleep and when I woke up I had a shaved tail and two open cuts in it – and it hurt!
Since then I have been running around like a Maniac and chasing Vitia and not allowing Marketa any sleep at all.
My POOR TAIL!
Miaouuuuuuuuuw!
That was painful!! I got bitten by the cooking thingemee. Again. Sometimes its ok – (most times) and then sometimes it bites back and I get a very sore foot!!! Now it hurts to walk and to go to the litter tray. And Marketa shouted at me – although then she was nice – but it still hurt and it still hurts!
How can a thing that cookes good fish, is nice and cool to sit on most of the times suddenly get so nasty and hurt so much – I don’t understand the modern world!
Vali with a sore foot – looking for sympathy.
